The Spring Recycling Day is Saturday, May 17th from 8 am to 12 noon at the St. Francis Middle School/Elementary Parking lot. Parade will be on Saturday, June14th at 1:00 pm. More information will be coming. If you are interested in having a craft booth at Community Park that weekend or want to be in the parade. Click on the Events heading on the upper left side of the screen for the applications. THE CITY HAS EXPERIENCED AN EQUIPMENT FAILURE AT OUR WELL HOUSE THIS PAST WEEK. THIS HAS CAUSED AN ODOR IN YOUR WATER. IT IS STILL SAFE TO DRINK. WE ARE WAITING FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS AND HOPE TO HAVE EVERYTHING RESOLVED BY EARLY NEXT WEEK. Minnesota Home Ownership Center is offering a free workshop for homeoweners who are worried about making upcoming mortgage payments for facing foreclosure. The workshop will provide inforamtion to residents on what happens during a foreclosure, homeowners rights and solutions for long-term housing needs. Participants will be able to ask questions and obtain free confidential advice from mortgage lending and foreclosure specialists. This workshop is an open-house event and participants are encouraged to come any time during the workshop hours. The Anoka County Transportation Management Organization (TMO) helps local employers and commuters explore different commuting choices such as carpooling, vanpooling, telecommuting, transit, biking, walking, or flexible work hours.
